Science has proven that [due to dopamine and serotonin levels in the male and female brain] women actually need to have [TWICE AS MUCH] sex as men.” Yet in 2021, there is still this huge double standard on male and female sexuality. Women are still being slut-shamed and ridiculed for being absolutely normal human beings. Sakinah Iman created this powerful and provocative piece to express her take on the issue of Sex and Promiscuity in this day and age.

A WORD FROM THE CREATOR

This Spoken Word film started on stage as a small piece of a one woman show, which then blossomed into a highly requested piece for live gigs at various arenas. I actually needed this piece to be on film for acquiring more theatre gigs and having something professional to show, but from that obscure reality, this piece you see today was born - a fully fleshed short comedic film, licensed by the major television network, Showtime. Who would have thought?! (Click the Yellow rectangle below for the Showtime link) You MUST do what you love and fully share and utilize your talents, in order to see the magical reality that’s store for you.

"Sometimes it takes the actors and entire crew consensually being in the most awkward and uncomfortable of situations to capture the most humanly relatable moments in life, on camera. I kept this in mind when creating "He Wants To Know My Number." All was done for the sake of the power in the message."
